echoes echo,

the streets come undone

layers of sediment and

love and young luck

today’s tomorrow will never

come to pass

yesterday's today lives inside

our bones

they crack

under the pressure

of stories of glory

of notorious hacks

of blood full of sap

the echoes

they echo

blood full of sap

its been said before

but I’ll say it in my own way.

echoes echo

through the city's streets

homes

your lips

my bones

mosaic of a multiplicity

of a lonesome

old growth

brown

stone

clone

my heart to the pavement

so I can feel the way the wind blows inside the veins of the footsteps

of the city slicker drones

echoes

echo,

never forever

guide me home
